Interior Design with Pantone Color of the Year 2024: Peach Fuzz

Every year, Pantone crowns a color as the Color of the Year. Laurie Pressman, vice president of Pantone, described the color authority’s 2024 choice as a much-needed balm for a country “in need of compassion” and the institute’s global wish “for a more peaceful future.”

Not quite as pink-leaning as coral, Peach Fuzz is a pastel version of orange and reflects the shift toward warmth and color in interiors we have been seeing in the last couple of years in the home fashion industry.

As a color for interior design and decor, Peach Fuzz pairs well with neutrals like creamy whites and beige, as well as gold, some blues, and greens.

And it is a natural with wicker, rattan, and bamboo pieces as well as grass rugs like sisal and jute.
